Nezumi are rat-people. Think Splinter from TMNT.

Oh, for those of you who have never RPG'd on Tarna, it includes a bunch of races from literature:

Sstoi are snake-people
Hira' are bird
Sohl are alligator or dragonkin
Hani are cat
Stsho are grey aliens
Mahen are monkey (lesser) or apes (greater)
Kif are... I don't know how best to describe them.

If you've read any CJ Cherryh, specifically the Chanur books, the Hani, Kif and Mahendo'sat (one may say Wookie like as well) are from those sources but have diverged to the magical nature of the world. Sohleugir and Sstoi nominally are genetically engineered versions of Kif. Stsho created the Hiraz from their genome and that of avians.

Are we using fixed DP? For what it is worth, that is my preference, so I can just assign stats as they fit the character without worrying about DP gamesmanship. But I can do either.

Yes, a flat 50DP will be used.

Also, you will gain a level after a number of adventures equal to your level. So, you will gain 2nd level after the first adventure, 3rd level after the third adventure, 4th level after the seventh, and so on.

On #3, well I8flesh is the tactician and I handle the strategic level (to a degree). Alternately he handles play by play while I am the colour commentator.
I enjoy presenting an interesting story in a detailed and vibrant world.
