OK, which rules do you use for stat generation? We used to do the old 3 columns of 10s, 1 for temps, 1 to determine potentials, re-roll anywhere from 20 and below to 35 and below (depending on power level). Can substitute 90/90 to dump a stat into class prime stats.

About the same.   20 or less reroll. you can roll temps as many times as you like, but all unused rolls will become NPCs that you will encounter.  Rolls can be assigned to any stat.  90 may be substituted for prime requisites.  roll for potentials using chart in Character Law.  Also need a social status roll--determines background options and starting money (and ancestry if using my honor system).

OK, the Horselords appeals to me as it matches my original concept (a Cossack) from an old campaign.

Temp stat rolls:
Rolled 1d100 : 1, total 1
Rolled 1d100 : 17, total 17
Rolled 1d100 : 48, total 48
Rolled 1d100 : 46, total 46
Rolled 1d100 : 8, total 8
Rolled 1d100 : 82, total 82
Rolled 1d100 : 59, total 59
Rolled 1d100 : 88, total 88
Rolled 1d100 : 61, total 61
Rolled 1d100 : 42, total 42
Rolled 1d100 : 76, total 76
Rolled 1d100 : 44, total 44
Rolled 1d100 : 12, total 12
Rolled 1d100 : 20, total 20
Rolled 1d100 : 37, total 37
Rolled 1d100 : 75, total 75
Rolled 1d100 : 47, total 47
Rolled 1d100 : 90, total 90
Rolled 1d100 : 49, total 49
Rolled 1d100 : 55, total 55
Rolled 1d100 : 38, total 38

Next Q, background options - Character law only? RMC 1 tables? RMC 4 point system (my favorite but I am biased)?

Not familiar with the RMC 4 point system let me look into that.  Background is trade/guild which yields 4 BOs, 1d100 BP + 1d6 SP and 2 ancestry rolls on a d20

OK here's the re-roll on that 1 potential and the 2 d20 ancestry rolls
Rolled 1d100 : 52, total 52
Rolled 1d20 : 14, total 14
Rolled 1d20 : 12, total 12

Heh, on the sheet I used, the 3rd potential rolls was PR which I punted for a 90/90.

As to RMC 4, I will allow the point system, but with only 90 points per BO.  Some of the costs seem a bit unbalancing, as the rest of my world has been developed without them.  Ancestry grants +6 to your base honor, which is 10, +6 = 16.  Max is 100.

OK so I can use 360 points per RMC IV or straight rolls per RMC I on the various tables? Reasonable (and I will be first to admit the costs in RMC IV need fine tuning after all these years of use).

Before I pick - which method are you using of Spell List Acquisition? Also, for pure Spell Casters, how much flexibility do I have in picking my base lists (especially the extra 4 beyond standard 6)?

Also, if you want to start a PC thread for all this back and forth, PC name will be "Zariya Savindy"

I use the spell list pick system, i.e. pure's pick 1-10 spells from a list next pick would gain 11-20.  I also use mana tap as we have discussed before--so you will need to choose Fixed, ambient, personal or granted as a mana source.  This allows for more character variability and a bit more of a personalization of magic.  For the time being I am using the level Power Point system, with modificaitons possible via Power Point development of mana source.  And I will open a Journal for Zariya.

Still possible to join?

The other game I'm in,
is about to end - and I blew it.
So be warned.

I would go with the "mightiest" profession in RM2 ...

No, not a Ranger, so the second "mightiest" ...
a thief.
Or a maybe "no Profession" profession?
