The Elf Mage will tell Qarrad that the title suggests that there are several rooms with traps before the ring may be safely seized. This, if the location of the ring is still in yn y Corsydd, (city in the marshes).

The blue staff you found is most likely a cast iron piece that must fit in a mold or else the 2nd level trap will be activated.

Craftswoman,
Torvala nods. "Okay, if you think it's somewhere else, good. Sky and seas, I'd rather not go back in there if we don't have to."

Craftswoman,

Torvala's neutral about the next step. Whatever facilitates her meeting with her family. (There is near the western marshes of the Eastwood Wilderness a Half-Elven town, Luthgobel, in Sindarin: Town of Charm, where lives Torvala's father. It might be a worthwhile base while exploring the neighbouring land.)

As for the party's next step, Qarrād says, "It does not seem to me that obtaining the Blogath's ring is an urgent matter at this time.  Perhaps we should check on the progress of our old companions, who rode off to confront the witches."

Please check the storyboard thread; that's where the story goes on with the re-united party.

The Haradrim cast the spell and he could see a shimmering on the eastern side of the valley under the trees; gradually the vision became clearer and the shimmering seemed to be five forest giants invisible and moving with the rest of the skirmishers.
