How do I fix the forum time zone to match my local time?
« on: September 13, 2012, 04:46:26 PM »
BTW, anyone know where to set my timezone? I can't seem to find it, or to find an answer. Everything is seven hours off for me.

Not seeing that option under profile anywhere.

I click profile up top (just click it, don't pick one of the choices in the hover drop menu)

Screen loads to profile summary by default.

Your left bar menu, 2nd header is "Modify Profile" 3rd choice under that is "Look and Layout"

If you have the left menu bar collapsed to make your screen view wider, you won't see that. In that case, in the profile summary screen, on the right side of your page, over your picture, is a double arrow like rewind on a remote (e.g. <<), click that to re-expand the left menu bar so you can see it.

Wow, thanks! That left menu bar was collapsed by default then. Open now and made the change.

You're welcome. Splitting this off to job tickets, just in case anyone else has a similar issue.

OK, split and moved, if anyone else has been annoyed by the board time zone settings, directions above to fix.

Personally, I love living in yesterday.
Look at me still talking when there's Science to do.
When I look out there, it makes me glad I'm not you.
I've experiments to run, there is research to be done
.....................on the people who are still alive.
