Apologies to All from Grinnen Baeritt
« on: February 10, 2009, 02:07:41 PM »
Rather than posting to each and every game I'm involved in I will make one post here.

For the past week, I've been virtually blind and have therefore been unable to see, let alone post to this board without considerable pain. This is the reason for my recent lack of posting, it has also struck in a lesser form in the previous few months which explains my rather slow posting rates.

I have Severe Recurrent Corneal Abrasion, which basically is where a past eye injury causes the surface of my right eye to erode and come away. This causes not only actual pain but extreme light sensitivity, not exactly condusive to regular PC useage, which I've been avoiding. It is getting better, but has meant that I'm imposing a 30 Minute cap on my PC useage per day for the next few weeks until the eye has recovered.

Hopefully all concerned will be patient, specifically those in my "Vienna Legacy" and "War Law" games. For the games that I'm actually playing in, please feel free to "puppet" rather than slow the games up.

Love from Justin, Jenella and me Andrew; look after yourself and come back only when everything is sorted, your eyes are much more important than anything happening here.

Take care mate

To be wholly honest, I have had loads of fun in your games.  However, your eyes are more important.  Don't worry about a thing except keeping yourself healthy.

I'd offer you one of my eyes, but they're crappy too
So don't force yourself, get it easy pal. We are number one at delaying any advancement in the plot

I went to the specialist today, they said things are much improved... in fact, better than they were before ... hopefully with all the ointments and drops (currently 6-8 applications per day) things should stay ok. For the moment I'm still limiting my computer time (2 hours per day but with breaks) but am soon (this week hopefully) be getting back to the games.

Thanks for the patience!

I wouldn't worry about apologies too much GB, this seems like a pretty easygoing bunch.

In short, I'm sure we'll all forgive you....

Sounds perfectly logical to me. I mean, pressing strange boobies without prior invitation usually "sets something off", does it not?

Ouch. That sounds really painful :(

Take care. I'll try to see to it that Joses doesn't fall into the pit. ;)
