Hello and stuff.
« on: February 04, 2009, 05:01:34 AM »
Thought I would add to the general info after doing the 20 questions. I plan on doing the other question list, but 70 questions! I will need a bit more time before I tackle that.

I've been gaming for over 20 years, since I was 12. I am a collector of RPG's. I have more of them than I have played. I am hoping that this site will allow me to experience several game systems that I have not had a chance at.

Once I get the hang of play by post, er email, I expect I will try my hand at running a game or two, or three or more?!

I like to GM, I tend to be the main gm for any group I am in, but I also like to play.

So far everyone seems friendly, I'll see how things go once the digital dice start rolling.  ;)

I am looking forward to some fun times and some new friends.

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome...

BTW, is there a board on here where people post the bizarre contents of their gaming library?

I've actually gotten rid of a lot of obscure games recently...keeping only my favorite ones.  But I still kept some really obscure ones like Element Masters.

I don't think I've ever played that one.

I haven't either. It's a monstrosity of a game. It was written by Mr Gygax himself. It's about aliens invading and only a group of cyborg commando's that can stop them. I've never played it because in order to figure out your characters hit points you have to figure in height and weight. That in itself is not a problem, however if I remember correctly it involves a limit curve that seems straight out of calculus. I was 15 at the time, and calculus was still a ways into the future for me. Now I'm curious, so I will look at it again.
