My apologies
« on: November 19, 2007, 06:41:38 PM »
I've done what I hate GMs doing: disappeared without a trace. I'm terribly sorry about that, and I hope to change that as of now - assuming that I still have players...

The official excuse has been lack of time, but I've realized that at least part of the reason is that I don't feel sufficiently able to present my game setting in a way that I feel is satisfactory. It's not that I dislike my descriptions of the near surroundings of the characters, I feel that many of the ideas for other parts of the world go to waste inside my mind, as I have only one group of characters who cannot just be wooshed from one place to another to suit my whims. Therefore, I've decided to experiment a bit with this medium, writing independent stories from other places in my world. Some stories will show what happened just before the characters arrive at a scene, others will be completely separate, portraying life in distant places. In a way, these stories will be my way of exploring my setting further than what can be done through a group of characters...

I hope this will help both you and me to get a better feeling of the setting we're playing in.

I will restart the game as soon as I receive positive response from at least two players.

Thanks guys! I'll post asap, and Tibbs, I'll send you the missing material before that.

As you can probably see, I've proceeded the game. Tibbs, your character description is on another computer than the one I'm at here - I'll sort that out tomorrow and send it to you then.

I'll lock this topic and refer all further discussion to the OC topic. :)
