Welcome Dude.

Reiteration: Check out the active games section here.  Browse them.  If find something you like, just PM the GM (procedure listed below).

1. GM is listed as Moderator below the game name
2. Right-click the name
3. Choose "Open in New Tab" or equivalent
4. Scroll down
5. Click "Send this member a personal message"

Otherwise, just hang out and browse until you figure what you want to do.

And by all means, enjoy thyself and have fun!

Aren't those video games? ???

as old skool gamerz, we have to recommend Dragon's Lair.

Sorry I know the Old World of Darkness stuff like Vampire the Masquerade, Mage the Ascencion and have played Free Form. I'm not experienced in the other systems. At least not yet.

The games I like best are dark themed. Sc-Fi, Fantasy, Horror, mutant, etc.

The only ones I've played are Werewolf, Changling and Wraith... though I have all the others including Adventure!

I do enjoy a good game of Mage...
Werewolf can be cool with the right people (just coincidentally scheduling the game on the night the powergamer has to work)...
Vampire and Wraith I used as source material,
Changeling...  :-\

You'd probably have no problem with Ars Magica, as it was the purchase of that game system that enabled WW to create their storyteller series; which is to say that the systems are fairly similar, at least in concept.

So far I've only found one I feel qualified to play active, Gunslingers.

I'd be very interested in playing a Mage game.

If someone was willing to help me with the systems used I'd be more able.

Ars Magica? Only a passing idea of that system though I understand it was used for OWoD.

Phoenix may be another option as that is set to become quite dark sci fi, though it's been a little quite after an active start.

Gunslingers is Sorlocs baby, but I'm sure more meet for Todds hectic undertakers would be welcome.

Phoenix has been quite quite.  Too quite. If I were actually my character, and it were that quite, I'd be quite nervous.
It usually only gets like that just before the fit hits the shan.

If you're interested in gunslingers, I can make room. I've got a few players who have become inactive  :'( Just post in the recruitment area; all the links to all the rules are there.  It's a pretty easy system (BRP), and I've got lots of rules posted.

Cool. I'm working out a gunslinger character.  For Phoenix the story looks great but when I checked the system I even got stuck on psionics. I'm going.. You can do that? The have a name for that? So it would take me a month to figure out how to do a character that had half a chance or any useful function. Though I've wanted to play a slug.
