coridan, welcome to the best PbP site ever created.  My opinion.  Have fun browsing and finding a game you may wish to join.

As for the fate of Grinnen...

I say we hang him upside down and beat him with wet bags of sausages...

Then we clean him up and smack him on the wrist and say, "Bad boy."

Anyway, I am sure it was an honest mistake.  Think about it.  How many of us has had DnD drilled into us by their massive marketing ability.  Even I, after swearing off DnD 25 years ago sometimes slips up and say DM instead of GM.

Remember this, I started with DnD way back in 1973, 34 years ago (1st Edition PHB was published in 1974).  It took eight years before Arms Law was introduced by Iron Crown (in 1980 I think).  Another two years after that before Iron Crown introduced Character Law.  The rest is history for me.

So lets forgive and forget.

I say, final sentence, "GB you are hereby expunged of all charges.  Just don't let it happen again."

Yep I had the first edition of dnd as well, then dumped it when I got the RM first edition, never looked back, but do sometimes slip up with DM / GM - maybe its old age? :)

My attic hold MANY dark secrets of late 70s-early 80's RPG.... White box D&D, numerous 1st Editions (I 've lost count of the number I picked up cheap at car-boot sales and Bring and Buys.).

I think I've got quite a few sets of the various RM editions up there somewhere...admidst the dust. Fool like I am if I see a set going cheap I tend to buy it.  ::)

Well, you know about my game. I will send you some more information or a roguish character. Soonish.

By the way, I also like the term Storyteller... ;)

Everyone, thanks for the warm welcome.  Hopefully, I can find a rolemaster game and settle in!

What's the current opinion on RME?  I myself own the RME download, the RMFRP hardbound book, RMSS Core rules and Spell Law, and HARP.  How interchangeable is all this stuff?

Man, I turned 12 years old in '73.

Does this still keep me as the granpappy of the boards?
