Old to gaming, but new to Rolemaster!
« on: July 02, 2007, 01:56:36 AM »
I linked over here from the ICE forums.  RM was a game that I tried once at a con, but I never ever investigated it.  Now, with the release of RME, I really want to try it.  It's a pleasure to be here!

A warm welcome.  ;D

Nice to see a new face around here, have you been in any Play by Post games before?... they are a bit of a culture shock for the un-initiated. There are quite a few different styles found here, some reasonably active and fast some more relaxed.

Feel free to PM the DM of any game that you are interested in, they may have spaces available and most will be happy to accommodate a new player.

When a RME game starts here, it willl be a first, there are a few RM2 and RMSS games running here. Also HARP games take a look at the others to.

DM? You heretic! :P

Welcome to the boards, coridan. Rolemaster is very popular here in all flavours, and I think it's not going to take long until the first RME game pops up.

Definatly Grinnen, "DM!"  What were you thinking GB :P

Well, I can't defend him on this one.....

I think we need to call a Grey Council meeting to decide the fate of this D20 admirer.

<smober voice> Mr. Ictus, as leader of the Grey Council, one of your flock is proclaimed to be a witch.....shall we tar & feather him or shall it be the dunking stool?

I'll bring the marshmellows if we decide to burn him at the stake

Dm?

I typed DM!

Oops..... perhaps I meant Devious Manipulator. or Deviant Mongoose....or something like that.

What I meant to type was...of course Dungeon Master..crap did it again :-[.

or Games Master, Referee, Twisted Arbiter etc. nothing to do with the Necromancers from over the Pond.

Me? A D20 lover. Who wrote that? I DO hope it wasn't one of my players...no siree, bad thing happen to people who even suggest that. ;)

(Though I was one of the playtesters for D&D 3.0. My names about the 4th of 5th mentioned...and so's my wife!)

That's really cool, I must now find a 3.0 rulebook to see it :)
