Below deck

It is dark below the deck of The Morning Cloud, and there is a strong smell of tar, sleeping men and grog. This first small area is where the sailors sleep - their hammocks hang from the ceiling, and there are a couple of closed trunks standing around - these are probably used as tables. Next to this is where the cargo is stored.

The cargo consists of crates with plates of stone, about one foot by a half foot in surface, of closed wooden boxes, and of closed barrels. Everything is packed tightly and secured by strong ropes to the sides of the ship - there is very little room to move between the goods.

Kerr climbs up to the top of the cargo and sits, waiting for something to happen.

OC: It would help if something was actaully going on. We're just roaming around the ship.. :S

"What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist?"
The Marine shrugged and replied: "Recoil."

There's a lot of noise coming from the deck above. People sound very busy, and the orders and curses that Captain Ustin frequently yells at the crew can be heard, muffled though the deck planks.

After a while, it sounds as if things quiet down above, but there are still occasional yells from the captain, and it still sounds as if the crew is busy.
