I'm experimenting a bit with the features made available when playing in this way, and have just sent a PM with additional information gained from an Observation roll. This way I leave it to you to have your charaters react to that in a way you find suitable. If you don't like this approach, please let me know, and I'll abandon it.

Ditto. However, I'd suggest occasionally adding a slight variation since it is often not that hard to notice that someone has noticed something when someone else has noticed something odd... even though they haven't noticed it themselves.
